An Original Student Play by Mack Webb
(NCTC Competiton Play - This show was for a theatre competition that required the set to fit in a 10’x10’ box and would be disqualified if anything was left on the stage.)
In Act 1, The main character, Jacob, wakes up on stage and is immediately swept up in a high school theater production filled with cliches, melodrama, and bickering between cast members. It was much more real and unforgiving as the stakes got higher, but he grew into the lead role and gave a fantastic show. Jacob remembers that, while it’s easy to pretend that the show must go on, someday, the show must end.
